You can either disable this application from the Startup (Start > Run> msconfig > Startup) list or you can copy the contents of the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Service Station to C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Service Station. You will see that this way when you boot the computer, the message will disappear.
Microsoft Office Word is not working anymore and it tells me to uninstall and then reinstall. I don't know how to reinstall it because I don't have the disc. Can you help?

First, in order to fix the issue, I suggest you use the Repair feature. Go to Start > Control Panel > Unistall a program, select the software from the list and press the Repair button next to Uninstall. If it doesn't solve the Microsoft Word problem, remove the utility from your computer and reboot the PC. After that, if you're using Microsoft Office 2007, navigate to Microsoft Office Download Center, select the application version, enter the Product Key and follow the provided steps. Do the same if you're using Microsoft Office 2010 or 2013. If you no longer have the serial number use the guide provided by Microsoft to recover it. Alternatively, before removing Microsoft Office from your computer, download and install Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. After the installation process is complete, launch the software and it will find the product keys for all installed products.

If you have the application pre-installed on your computer, go to Start, type HDD Protection and open the utility. Check ON box below Choose whether to enable or disable HDD Protection and select the protection level for Battery and AC Power. After that click Setup Detail, check the Detection Level Amplification and HDD Protection Message boxes, click Apply and then OK. If you don't have the application installed, go to Toshiba Support page, identify your computer model, select your operating system and download and install the utility. After that, follow the above instructions.
Since this is an Android powered tablet, you can check for updates going to About device in Settings menu. You will have Software Update which is used to upgrade or update the firmware on your device. WiFi Internet connection is required.

The only solution I have is to turn off the alerts, which Service Station does allow. There is no option in Windows Sounds unfortunately.
